9. Bayhan, Afghanistan.
It is the Buddha of bayhan statue, and the shaped Buddhist monument built on the cliffs around 230 km from north Afghanistan. It is located in of Kabul, has a height of about 55 meters. Unfortunately, the monument was destroyed by the Taliban organization in 2001 ago. We can seen in the photo below, that part of the statue’s face is destroy finally. Then in the mission to rebuild the damaged section, some countries and organizations participated. Among them, Japan, Switzerland, UNESCO and other countries.
